Charlotte Eckler

For over 25 years, Charlotte Eckler has helped people express themselves optimally, and especially for English speakers who did not grow up speaking the language. She is also a versatile translator of German texts into her clear and concise brand of English. As a writer, she looks back on numerous articles celebrating cultural phenomena; she is also active in the local poetry scene and maintains an active practice in the visual arts.
Bilingual in English and German before graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles, she migrated to Vienna, Austria, at first as an exchange student studying English and German. She continued at the University of Vienna with German studies; her many interests led her to explore film, feminism, conceptual art, poetry and (music) performance. She completed a Master’s Program in Journalism to further her professional writing in German before returning to the US. There, she fine-tuned her entrepreneurial and editing skills before co-founding Dream Coordination Office, LLC, in 2003.
Since 2003, she has worked with many publication teams on texts for artist books and catalogs.
